We are super amazed and proud and honored to announce that Santa True has been announced as one of the 2024 Inductees into the International Santa Claus Hall of Fame! Thank you to all our friends and family and supporters who’ve believed in the message of CPW, to bring the Heart to our Art. Your support of us—and of Santa True specifically—has meant the world.
— With love and affectionate for you all, Cat Ellen, co-Founder of CPW and super proud partner of Santa True / Robert Seutter

Long before donning the red-and-white, Robert Seutter invested over thirty years working as a traditional spoken-word storyteller as True Thomas the Storyteller, known for “Believe in the Power of Story.”

In 2014, True expanded his storytelling to embrace the work of Christmas performing, entering the community as “Santa True” (as well as “Action Santa”). Quickly he noticed that his decades of performing could benefit all Christmas Performers.

True and his partner Cat Ellen combined their experience and founded Christmas Performer Workshops® (CPW) in 2015 to advance a new standard for professional training and expand the vision of performers and clients alike.

True inspires and mentors performers worldwide, sharing his deep love for Christmas lore, history, and traditions as well as pursuing skill training for chair and stage alike. True is grateful for his experience as a Marine Corps veteran, a USC Cinema graduate, and a broadcast professional. In addition to his Santa work, he is a Sci-Fi and Fantasy author and an avid historical reenactor.

Seeing the art of Christmas performing as a lasting legacy, True continues to look for ways to inspire joy for generations to come. Santa True enjoys balancing his professional engagements with community outreach and is dedicated to seeing Christmas Performing recognized as a true Art Form.
